Vietnam’s Best Beaches

Vietnam is a holiday destination with a wide range of different environments, such as cities, mountains and forests. All of these are of equal beauty, but for many visitors, he beaches will be of particular interest. Here is a quick run-down of Vietnam’s best beaches – if you are taking a trip to the country, then you owe it to yourself to visit at least one of these magnificent coastal destinations!

City Beach

Any overview of the top beach destinations in Vietnam must surely contain the beautiful city of Nha Trang. Located on the south coast of the country, Nha Trang sits adjacent to City Beach, a must-see destination for anybody who prefers to spend their holidays with the sun, sand and surf. You can also enjoy the local nightlife and spas, not to mention free activities such as simply frolicking in the water or sunbathing. City Beach is not the only gorgeous beach in Nha Trang; to the north of the city lies Hon Chong Beach, another worthwhile destination.

Danang Beach

If scuba diving is your kind of thing, then Danang Beach will be worth your attention. The area is home to Furama Hotel, a top-of-the-line resort which will cater you your every holiday need. So, by day you can surf and dive, and by night you can kick back and relax at a slick resort – what more could a holiday maker wish for? To top the whole thing off, Danang Beach is an area of unparalleled natural beauty: as well as sand and sea, the area is home to some spectacular coconut palms. Make no mistake, Danang Beach is everyone’s idea of a tropical paradise.

Dai Lanh

Are you running on a budget? Perhaps you have spent your money on travel insurance, and would rather keep your trip to free or low-cost activities? Well, you may not be able to afford a resort, but you can still afford to visit some lovely beaches. The Hon Ghom peninsula will be your best bet, with its wide stretches of unspoilt beaches that will be just perfect for people who like to spend their holidays in peace and quiet. Of all the beaches on the peninsula, Dai Lanh is most recommended. This small village sits between a beautiful beach and some vast mountains – the best of both worlds!

Star Beach

Finally, we come to Phu Quoc’s Star Beach. This is another quiet destination, making it a good choice for people who like to escape the hustle and bustle while on holiday. Here, you can rent a kayak or go on one of the available snorkelling trips. If you want a quieter activity, you could settle down in one of the nearby resteraunts which serve delicious food while offering unparalleled views out onto the vast beach. Star Beach is also the perfect place to sit back and relax on the sand, which is a magnificently pure white. You may have been to beaches before, but you are unlikely to have seen anything quite like Star Beach.
